Pain points

PGFM provides SIA-licensed security across the UK. Its buyers are facilities and procurement managers who need proof before they pick up the phone: accreditations, insurance, policies and a clear scope for each service. That proof was hard to find, and the site had to recruit guards as well as win clients.

Solutions

We built a structured WordPress site where every service has its own page, all 12 accreditations sit on the homepage, and policies and insurance are one click away. ‘Get a Free Quote’ is on every screen, and a dedicated ‘Work for us’ route serves PGFM’s second audience: guards.

Overview

About PGFM

PGFM is a UK security company based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, providing trained static guards, event security and traffic management, licensed security dog handlers, key holding and alarm response, executive and VIP close protection, and cleaning, available 24/7.

The company holds 12 accreditations and memberships, including SIA Approved Contractor, SSAIB (COP 119), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Constructionline Gold and SafeContractor.

What we delivered

We gave PGFM a website that does the qualifying work before the first call: proof, scope and a clear next step.

Our decision

We chose WordPress with Elementor because PGFM’s team needs to add services, news and policies without a developer. Services are a custom post type with categories, so the mega menu, service pages and sitemap update the moment a new service is published.

UX/UI Design

Designed in Figma, screen by screen

Built for procurement: accreditations up front, a simple three-step process (‘We Listen First’, ‘We Get It Right for You’, ‘We Show Up and Stay Close’) and a quote button on every screen.

Problem → Solution

Key Development Challenges & Solutions

  1. 01

    Challenge: Proving credibility instantly

Problem: Procurement teams shortlist suppliers on credentials before they call.

Solution: A homepage accreditation strip with all 12 certifications, plus policies and insurance one click away.

  2. 02

Challenge: A service range that keeps growing

Problem: New services had to appear in menus, pages and the sitemap without rebuilding the site.

Solution: Services are a custom post type with categories, so publishing a service updates navigation and sitemaps automatically.

  3. 03

    Challenge: Two audiences, one website

Problem: PGFM needs to win clients and recruit guards without mixing the two.

Solution: Separate routes and forms: ‘Get a Free Quote’ for clients and ‘Work for us’ for candidates.

Conclusion

What this project proves

In security, the website is often the first due-diligence check. If credentials, policies and a clear scope aren’t there, the supplier doesn’t make the shortlist.

PGFM’s site now leads with proof: 12 accreditations, a three-step process, service pages with clear scope, and a quote button on every screen, on a CMS the team updates themselves.

For B2B service companies selling to procurement: make the evidence impossible to miss, and the conversation starts warmer.
