Pain points

Mainland Real Estate & Construction manages apartments, villas, land and commercial space across Beirut and Mount Lebanon. Listings were scattered across social media and messages, so buyers couldn’t filter by type, price or area, and the team had no single place to track who was asking about what.

Solutions

We built a property portal on WordPress where every listing has a reference number, type, location and price, organised into Buy, Rent and Seasonal. Owners can submit their own properties, and every inquiry is captured with its type, the person’s role and preferred location, so the team follows up with context.

Overview

About Mainland Real Estate

Mainland Real Estate & Construction is based in Mtayleb, Matn, and serves buyers, renters, owners and investors across Beirut, Broummana, Ras El Matn and the wider region.

The portal lists residential and commercial property, from studios and apartments to houses, villas, land and offices, with seasonal rentals as their own category.

What we delivered

We turned Mainland’s listings into a searchable portal and its inquiries into trackable leads.

Our decision

We built on a Hello Elementor child theme with a dedicated property post type instead of hand-designed listing pages. Listings are structured data, not layouts, so reference numbers, filtering and new categories like seasonal rentals work without redesigning anything.

Most property browsing in the region happens on phones. Listings, photos and the inquiry form are built for one-handed scrolling, with the phone number always one tap away.

Problem → Solution

Key Development Challenges & Solutions

  1. 01

    Challenge: Structuring mixed inventory

Problem: Apartments, villas, land and offices, for sale, rent and seasonal stay, all need different details.

Solution: A dedicated property post type with types, statuses, locations and reference numbers, so every listing follows the same structure.

  2. 02

Challenge: Capturing leads without a paid CRM

Problem: Inquiries arrived by phone and social media with no context.

Solution: One inquiry form that records the request type (purchase, rent, sell), the person’s role (buyer, agent, owner, investor), location and property type.

  3. 03

    Challenge: Speed on slower connections

Problem: Image-heavy listing pages are slow on mobile networks.

Solution: LiteSpeed Cache and Cloudflare’s CDN serve cached pages and images close to the visitor.

Conclusion

What this project proves

Real estate runs on trust and timing: the right listing in front of the right person, and a fast reply when they ask.

Mainland’s portal gives every property a proper home, with reference numbers, categories and owner submissions, and turns every inquiry into a lead with context.

For agencies still selling through social posts and messages: a structured portal is the step from a feed to a business system.
